Following nearly 2 decades in newspaper and magazine publishing Rob along with 7 colleagues branched out to set up the Ark. Leaving their previous employment in 2’s (hence the name) was both exciting and daunting at the same time – fast forward 20+ years later and Rob still loves producing great quality work for great clients, many who have been on the journey for the majority of those 20 years!
With over 30 years’ experience in marketing Wendy oversees design and print across the business from formulating timelines and scheduling to operational management and process. She has a wealth of knowledge in a range of media disciplines and her exceptional organisational skills ensure the smooth delivery of all design projects.
In the days of typesetting and hot wax, Brian Layng honed his craft with a meticulous eye for detail. Over three decades, he's journeyed through the diverse world of graphic design, from screenprinting to catalogue crafting, and from shaping brand identities to delving into commercial book publishing. Throughout it all, a steadfast passion has remained: his love for typography and the enchanting power of the printed word.
Joanne Spencer, a seasoned Graphic Designer at The Ark Design & Print, has over a decade of experience and is an alumnus of The University of Huddersfield. Known for her dedication and expertise in areas like the Adobe Creative Suite and logo design, Joanne's passion for design is evident in every project. With her leadership, The Ark Design & Print remains at the forefront of creative innovation.
Georgina Smith is a dynamic Graphic Designer at The Ark Design, Graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Graphic Design from Leeds Arts University. Passionate about the psychology behind design, she has honed her branding and packaging design skills. With experience from internships at notable agencies like Bloom and Big Fish®, and freelance projects for clients such as MindforYou, Georgina poises herself to make significant contributions in the design world, eager to tackle new challenges and collaborate with fellow creatives.
